Installation and Preview

This is where it gets a little technical, but the Facebook interface makes it easy for the PC user.

1. After logging into your account, go to the Sharing Tool (the part where you change your status) at the top of the page.

2. Select the “Video Archive” option in the left part of the tool.

3. Start setting up your Live Broadcast by clicking the +Live button

4. Depending on the necessity of the video encoding tool you use, two options will appear:
–Single Domain: Your encryption tool only requests a server address or url.
–Separate Domain: Your encryption tool requires both a server address and a key. Don’t forget to open a secure connection on your encryption tool using rtmps.

IMPORTANT! Server URL and Stream Key can only be used for one live stream. You should use the same key for previewing and sharing. In short, you cannot preview or pause the broadcast and then continue where you left off. Note also that the URL and Key expire after 4 hours.

5. Copy and paste your server URL and key into the encryption software. Although there is no definite progress since each software has its own structure and shaping, most of the time, you will have to find the broadcast settings and make the desired adjustments by entering the URL or key you copied into the type you will set as Private Broadcast Server or RTMP. For this, it is useful to review your software beforehand.

6. Click the Preview button to set up your Live Stream and see how it will exit the encryption stream. If you have already started broadcasting with your software, your image will appear in this area within 1-10 seconds. Your Live Broadcast button will remain unavailable until you see a valid broadcast. If you receive an offline message for your live stream, you must first make sure that you have started from our software. If you’re still having problems, check to make sure the server URL or stream key is copied correctly. You can specify URL and key at any time.

7. Fill in the video title and content section and add the friend you are used to at the bottom left, write how you feel, etc. Decorate with emoticons, don’t forget to specify locations and edit audience restrictions.

8. Audience Restrictions: If you need to restrict your broadcast in any way (for example, broadcast rights of some countries may be one of the reasons for using this tool), remember to use the restriction. Just like your posts, you can apply certain age, gender or location restrictions here.

9. Under the Advanced section, there is a continuous broadcast option. This option gives you unlimited time support. There are live images of places such as aquariums, zoos and museums that you can use in the continuous broadcast section.

-Rights settings option: This option can warn you when there is a similar post with the same content as you.

After that, it remains only to start your broadcast. When you start the broadcast, you can follow how many people are watching you in total and instantly, and you can see the comments made by people live.

When you finish shooting, this video is converted to static under your archived videos and stored for later viewing. In addition, it becomes watchable again on other people’s home page, depending on the density of people on the broadcast.
